Director of Awerbuch Bros. Wholesale, Joe-Lin, Awerwass (Pty.) Ltd., Ramelna Holdings and Broadway Centre. Member, Bloemfontein United Hebrew Institutions (Vice-President 1954); Chairman, Selwyn Segal Home for Retarded Children (Bloemfontein Branch); Joint Treasurer, United Hebrew Institutions Shul Fund; Past Master (1948), Thistle Lodge; now Past Member of District Grand Lodge of Transvaal and O.F.S. President of Southern Free State Bowling Association 1957-1959. Vice-President of the South African Bowling Association, 1962-65. Hon Life Vice- President, Hilton Bowling Club.
