Member of Students' Representative Council and Editor of Magazine at Grey College: President of Literary and Debating Society of G.U.C. (1922); Hon. Secretary, South African Jewish Historical Society; Delegate to South African Board of Deputies: President, Bloemfontein Young Israel Society, 1920-22.
