ROSETTENSTEIN, Julius William, Solicitor, Notary and Conveyancer; Commissioner of Oaths. Carrying on business
under the style of Reeders & Rosettenstein; one of oldest firms of
Solicitors in Johannesburg, having started practice in 1889. Born in Kimberley, Cape Province, in 1879. Educated at Marist Bros.
College, Johannesburg, and Educational Institute, Cape Town. Married in 1915 to Aurelia Saenger, and has four children.
Pioneer of Johannesburg. Arrived at Johannesburg in October, 1886; Hon. Solicitor to the Witwatersrand Hebrew Benevolent Association since its foundation. The Rosettenstein family originally laid out the township of Rosettenville, which is now a flourishing township of Johannesburg South.
