Member of National Fund Club since 1903; Founder of Shadowo Society; Member of Executive, Federation of Synagogues of the Witwatersrand; Member of Committee, Jeppestown Hebrew Congregation since 1914; President of same 1918 to 1928; Ardent Communal Worker and strong Zionist supporter; Committee Member of Jeppe Talmud Torah since inception.
