HAYMAN, Jennie (born Trakman). Born in Ponives, Lithuania, in 1890. Educated at home by private tutors. Married in 1913 to J. Hayman; has six children. Staunch worker for the War Victims' Fund, and various other institutions; ready helper of the poor since childhood; has a thorough knowledge of Russian, German, Latin, Hebrew and Yiddish: Author of unpublished work: "On the Precipice"; 1907-1910 practised Dentistry; is a writer of Sketches and Poems in Russian, Hebrew and Yiddish; has written for the local and American Jewish Press.
