KERBEL, Isaac (I. Kerbel & Co., and Algoa Cement Industries), Timber Merchant and Joinery Manufacturer. Born in Friedrichstadt, Latvia, in 1874. Educated at Riga. Came to South Africa in 1894. Married in 1904 to Sasa Gilbart; has five children. Ex-President, Port Elizabeth Orthodox Hebrew Congregation. Postal Address: P.O. Box 3043, North End, Port Elizabeth.
