GOLDMAN, Ralph. Born at Malmesbury, Cape Province. Educated at Boys' High School, Malmesbury, and at University of Cape Town, where took B.A. and LL.B. Degrees. Was admitted as an Advocate at the Cape in 1927; came to Windhoek in January, 1928, practising as Advocate until August, 1929; now practising as Attorney; partner of firm Zwarenstein and Goldman, Attorneys, etc., Windhoek; has always taken keen interest in Young Israel affairs; one of the Foundation Members, Judean Central Council of Cape Province; Past Vice-President of that body; was Sub-Editor of the Judean " for two years; Past President, Students' Jewish Association of University of Cape Town; has acted as Convenor of the University Jewish Students' Federation of South Africa: acted as Chairman of the Executive till time of departure for Windhoek: Chairman Windhoek Zionist Society.
