BERNSTEIN, Nicholas, Merchant. (One of the brothers who established the firm of Bernstein Bros., Ltd., in Johannesburg in 1898, and an active member of the firm since then.) Born in Courland in 1874. Educated there. Came to South Africa in 1894. Married Sarah Kark in 1912: has four children. Member of all Jewish Institutions. Postal Address: 198 Musgrave Road, Durban.
