Married in 1896 to Sarah Myers; has one child. First Secretary of Jewish Ladies' Communal League, S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies, Johannesburg Jewish Guild; Secretary of Witwatersrand Old Hebrew Congregation, 1892/1906; Secretary of Jewish Refugees Committee, Durban, 1899/1902; Secretary of S.A. Zionist Federation, 1902/1910; appointed by Lord Milner to issue permits to Jewish Refugees who were returning to Transvaal after the Boer War. Postal Address: P.O. Box 2301, Johannesburg.
