SPANGENTHAL, Arnold Theodore. Director of Companies. Born Berlin, Germany, 7th January, 1914, son of Hugo and Lisbeth Spangenthal. Educated at the Kaiser Friedrich School, Berlin. Came to South Africa 1936. Director of Spangenthal Bros. (Pty.) Ltd., Johannesburg and London; Voltex Electric, Johannesburg, Durban, Windhoek, Manzini, Lobatsi, and A.L.L. Electric, Bloemfontein. Member of the Transvaal Automobile Club. During World War II served with 11 S.A. Armoured Brigade H.Q. in South Africa, Middle East and Italy.
