TAINOW, Abe. Life Assurance Representative. Born Wilno,
Poland, 13th September, 1909, son of Aron Itzchak and Beila Teinowitz. Educated
in Poland. Came to South Africa 1929. Is also Managing Director of a property
and was previously proprietor of a shop. Committee member, Adath Israel Congregation,
Pretoria, 1936-50; former Warden, Pretoria United Hebrew Congregation;
Committee member, Talmud Torah, 1940-46. During World War II served in National
Volunteer Brigade. Member, Wingate Park Country Club, Pretoria. Married Bertha
Zlotnick, 1934; two sons, two daughters. Recreation: Bowls. Add.: 33, Balrea,
