TUFFIAS, Aaron. C.A. (S.A.). Chartered Accountant. Born Johannesburg 18th February, 1914, son of Max and Polly Tuffias. Educated at Jeppe High School and University of the Witwatersrand. Organising Secretary, Bikkur Cholim Society, 1940-49: led first four Bikkur Cholim Seaside Camps, 1946- 49; Committee member, S.A. Jewish Orphanage, 1950- 53; helped to establish Society for the Welfare of the Jewish Deaf, 1952-53. Was Hon. Treasurer of Saint Giles Organisation.
