Past President of the Brakpan Chamber of Commerce. Executive member of the Dr. Max Nordau Lodge. Executive member of the S.A. Maccabi Council. Commissioner of Oaths, Member, Brakpan Bowling Club. Was member of the 1961 South African Maccabi Games Team to Israel. Recreation: Bowls. Married Rose Vera Schlosberg, 1941; two sons.
