Visiting Medical Officer, Somerset Hospital; Railway Medical Officer, Green Point, 1931-51; Lecturer and examiner, S.A. Red Cross. Committee member, S.A. Geriatrics Society; member of the Medical Association of South Africa and a founder of the College of Physicians, Surgeons and Gynaecologists of S.A. Member of the British Medical Association and the Israel Medical Association. Director of Bland, Welch (Pty) Ltd., During World War II served as a Captain in the S. A. M. C.; saw service in South Africa and the Middle East. Committee member, Sea Point and Green Point Hebrew Congregations, 1936-43; member, Cape Town Hebrew Congregation, S.A. Association of Arts.
