Was lecturer in physics to Transvaal School of Mines, 1918; One of the founders and first president of Students' Jewish Association at the South African College (1913); founder of Jewish Guild, Salisbury, Rhodesia, 1928; Secretary, Zionist Society, Salisbury, 1929.
