16th July, 1916, son of Bernard and Sarah Weinronk. Educated at Grey High
School and Muir College. Director of Weinronk's Furniture House (Pty.) Ltd. and
various other companies. Former chairman S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies (Eastern
Province) and Summerstrand Hebrew Congregation. During World War II served as pilot
in South African Air Force. Member, Wedgwood Park Country Club, Summerwood
Club. Married Sarah Farber, 1947; two sons, two daughters. Recreations: Golf,
