WEINSTOCK, Rabbi Simon. Minister of Religion. Born Israel 9th April, 1937, son of Menachem Mendel and Zivia Weinstock. Educated at Yeshivoth in I rael and obtained Smichas Rabbonus from Rabbi Amiel, Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv, and other distinguished Rabbis. Came to South Africa 1961. Is Spiritual Leader of the Krugersdorp Hebrew Congregation, Principal of the Hebrew School and Chaplain of the Hebrew Order of David Lodge. Married Millie Oran, 1960; two daughters.
