ZWICK, Abraham. Can- tor. Born Bardichev, Ukraine, 4th December, 1886, son of Nachum and Faiga Zwick. Received musical education in Vienna and succeeded the famous Chief Cantor Savel Kwartin in Vienna before coming to South Africa in 1922, as Chief Cantor to the Pretoria United Hebrew Congregations. Retired recently after 43 years' service. Married Flora Samuels, 1950; two sons, one daughter. Add.: 804, Church Street, Arcadia, Pretoria.
