SCHLESINGER, Kurt. Photographer. Born Schönebeck, Germany,
11th July, 1920; son of Max and Lucie Schlesinger. Educated at Ecole Alpina.
Champery, Switzerland; Chillon College, Montreux, Switzerland: Diploma in
Photography Germain School of Photography; New York, U. S. A. Came to South
Africa 1937. Runs his own photographic studio Johannesburg and executed a
series of photographs of Israel for the S.A. Zionist Federation's exhibition,
"Israel - Epic of Our Time", which was shown throughout South Africa.
Member, Etz Chayim Congregation, Johannesburg. Member, Reading Country Club and
B'nai B'rith Lodge. Married Lillian Weinstein (American). Recreation: Golf.
