Was Secretary of the Heilbron Hebrew Congregation for some twenty years, and is still Secretary of the Heilbron Jewish Burial Society and Helping Hand, which he has served in this capacity for over twenty years. Has been Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Heilbron Tennis Club for many years. Represented Heilbron in the first team and league tennis from 1918 onwards (most recently in 1966).
