England 27th July, 1920, son of Barney and Miriam Sloman. Educated at Central
Foundation School of London, Trinity College, London and Normal College, Johannesburg
United Progressive Jewish Congregation; Served as wireless operator-air gunner,
subsequently air crew instructor in R.A.A.F. during World War II. South African
Police Reserve (Sgt.). Recreations: Music, drama, reading. Married Anne Miller,
1945; one son, two daughters. Add.: 64, Thirteenth Street, Orange Grove,
Johannesburg.
