Executive member, O.F.S. Zionist Council; Hon. Vice- President, S.A. Maccabi Association; Chairman, O.F.S. Maccabi Association for 15 years. Member, Bloemfontein Hebrew Congregation. Member, Southern Free State Bowling Executive; chairman, Bloemfontein Bowling Club. Received S.A. Amateur Boxing Association Award of Merit for services rendered. Represented South Africa in Maccabi Games, Israel, 1957 and 1961. Former chairman, O.F.S. Amateur Boxing Association. Member of O.F.S. Board of Control, Professional Boxing.
