ROSENFELD, Nathan. Retired Merchant. Born Bucharest, Romania, 17th August, 1882; son of Jacob and Esther Rosenfeld. Educated at Jewish Free School, London, England. Came to South Africa 1902. Hon. Life President (previously Chair- man and Treasurer) of the North Eastern Hebrew Congregation, Johannesburg. Was Treasurer and Vice-Chairman of the Federation of Synagogues of the Transvaal and Orange Free State from 1945- 1955. Member, Houghton Golf Club.
