SANDERS, Simon. M.B., Ch.B. Medical Practitioner. Born Lithuania 18th September, 1919, son of Leo and Rosa Sanders. Came to South Africa 1921. Educated at Rawsonville School, Worcester Boys' High School and University of Cape Town. Medical Officer, City of Cape Town Health Department. Previously General Practitioner in Worcester, 1948-55. Member, Orthodox Congregation Tifereth Israel. During World War II served part-time in Medical Officers' Training Ambulance. Married Marian Zabow, 1948; one son, one daughter.
