Sandler, Maurice Myer

SANDLER, Maurice Myer. Director of Companies. Born Durban 26th March, 1914, son of Joseph and Jenny Sandler. Educated at Durban High School and University of Natal. Managing Director, Universal Mills & Produce Co. (Pty.) Ltd., Durban. Vice-President, Durban Chevra Kadisha. During World War II served with the S.A. Armoured Cars, Pretoria Regiment, attached to attached to 1st Battalion Scots Guards. Took part in the Italian campaign. Member Durban High School Old Boys' Club, Circle Country Club, Kooka Burros Club and Kingsmead Club. Married 1947, wife's name Lyn; one son, two daughters. Recreations: Swimming, golf and fishing.
