LEVY, Jack. Merchant. Born Manchester 27th December, 1895, son of Samuel Jonas and Rachael Levy. Educated in Manchester at Darly Street School. Came to South Africa December, 1921. Hon. Secretary, Claremont Hebrew Congregation, 1926-46. Served with Highlands Light Infantry in World War I; with Cape Garrison Battalion in World War II. Member, Claremont Bowling Club.
