MANNE, Esther. Housewife. Born Wesermunde, Germany 9th March, 1925, daughter of Konrad and Adele Feldbrand. Educated in Germany and South Africa. Came to South Africa March, 1939. Was private secretary to Director of a firm in Durban for several years. Was member of S.A. Red Cross Nursing Division during World War II. Married Elias Manne 1947; one son, three daughters.
