Educated at Yeshivot of Mir and Baranovitz, where he obtained Smicha, and at Cape Town University. Came to South Africa 1936. Rabbi of the Vredehoek Synagogue, Cape Town. Magid Hashiur of the Chevra Lomdei Torah, Sea Point, and Magid Hashiur of the Chevra Gmora and Tanach, Muizenberg. Vice-Chairman of Omer. Author of "Zangen fun Leiben."
