On staff of Beth Din, Johannesburg. Previously was head of department of Hebrew, Krugersdorp High School. Member of Doornfontein Hebrew Congregation, Johannesburg Gemillus Chesed, Bertrams Gemillus Chesed, Miller Gemillis Chesed, Johannesburg Jewish Helping Hand and Burial Society. Kosher Kitchen and various other organisations. During World War II served as a Chaplain with the South African forces in South Africa and Up North. Married Susan Berman, 1938; one son. Recreation: study, particularly Bible, Mishnah and Gemara, Add.: 35, High Street, Berea, Johannesburg.
