Ltd. Director of F. & M. (Krugersdorp) (Pty.) Ltd., founders and engineers. Previously Secretary of Companies. Secretary, Krugersdorp United Hebrew Institution, 1939-59. Member of the Council of the United Hebrew Institutions of Krugersdorp. Member, David Ben Gurion Lodge, Hebrew Order of David, since 1948; President, 1962-64. Member of Kadimah Country Club (Treasurer since inception in 1949), also past Chairman. Served in National Volunteer Brigade during World War II. Married Dene Shevitz, 1942; one son, one daughter.
