Secretary S.A. Board of Jewish Education. Born Lithuania 12th November, 1912,
son of Maurice and Rachael Misheiker. Came to South Africa 1934. Educated at
Riga, Shavli Tarbut Hebrew High School, University of Kaunas (Law and
Economics) and University of Witwatersrand. Has occupied present position for
past 24 years. Previously was Editor of the "Jewish Herald". Married
Betty Fairly, 1942; one son, one daughter. Recreation: Writing. Add.: 27,
