NEIMANN, Herman. Merchant. Born Antwerp, Belgium, 21st September, 1903; son of Samuel and Ida Neimann. Educated at Liverpool Hebrew Schools, Liverpool Institute, England. Came to South Africa 1926. Retail shoe merchant; Director of H. Neimann and Son (Pty.) Ltd. Committee member, Wynberg Hebrew Congregation Synagogue Committee, 1960- 61, 1965-67. Member, Keurboom Sports Club. Was Cadet in Liverpool King's Regiment, World War I. Married Rachel Ezra, February, 1938; two sons, one daughter. Recreation: bowls. Add.: 15 Mortimer Road, Wynberg, Cape.
