Torbanite Mining and Refining Co. Ltd., 1934-46. Member of various Technical Committees, S.A. Bureau of Standards, Pretoria. Member, Johannesburg Great Synagogue since 1938. Member of Durban North Hebrew Congregation and Vice-President, Durban North Synagogue. During World War II worked on essential services connected with petroleum refining. Has written numerous technical papers on petroleum and asphalt technology, published in Britain, U.S.A. and South Africa. Member, Durban Jewish Circle Club.
