Previously, Officer Commanding, Brenthurst Military Hospital for Plastic Surgery. Professor of Plastic-Maxillo-Facio and Oral Surgery, University of Witwatersrand. Chairman, Medical Section, S.A. Zionist Federation. Served in World War II and in the Israel War of Independence. Recreations: sculpture, painting, tennis, golf. Married Diana Malkin 1934; one son, one daughter.
