Medical Adviser to Commercial and Industrial Medical Aid Society, 1964; Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, Discoverers' Hospital, Florida. President, Southern Transvaal Branch of the Medical Association of S.A., 1960; member of the Federal Council of the Medical Association, 1957-64; Vice-President, Railway Medical Officers' Group. Awarded Bronze Medal by Medical Association of S.A. for meritorious services, 1963. During World War II served in the S.A. Medical Corps with the rank of Major; Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, No. 5 General Hospital, Cairo; Officer Commanding Cullinan Hospital; Registrar, Oribi Military Hospital.
