Chairman of Odendaalsrus Hebrew Congregation for past 20 years. Councillor, Odendaalsrus Municipality, 1950- 1962. Member, Freddies Recreation Club. Married, 21st June, 1940; wife's name, Molly; two sons, three daughters.
