Reichenberg, Alfred Montague


REICHENBERG, Alfred Montague. M.P.S. Chemist and Druggist. Born Heidelberg 5th August, 1897, son of Jacob and Miriam Reichenberg. Educated at Marist Brothers' College, Johannesburg, and Grey College, Bloemfontein. Past chairman, Southern Transvaal Branch of the Pharmaceutical Society of S.A., 1955; past president, Pharmaceutical Society of the O.F.S., 1930 and 1937. Member of the S.A. Pharmacy Board 1938-42. O.F.S. representative of S.A. Amateur Boxing Association since 1944. During First World War served with S.A.M.C. in German East Africa; during Second World War was member of National Volunteer Brigade. Married Kate Rosenberg, 1927; two daughters.
