Educated at Marist Brothers' College, Johannesburg, and Grey College, Bloemfontein. Past chairman, Southern Transvaal Branch of the Pharmaceutical Society of S.A., 1955; past president, Pharmaceutical Society of the O.F.S., 1930 and 1937. Member of the S.A. Pharmacy Board 1938-42. O.F.S. representative of S.A. Amateur Boxing Association since 1944. During First World War served with S.A.M.C. in German East Africa; during Second World War was member of National Volunteer Brigade. Married Kate Rosenberg, 1927; two daughters. Add.: 506, Roxdale, Second Avenue, Lower Houghton, Johannesburg.
