Director, Westdene Services (Pty.) Limited, L. H. Reichenberg (Pty.) Limited and Jeanne & Laurie (Pty.) Limited. One of the founders and the first Chairman of the Northcliff Hebrew Congregation; now Hon. Vice-President and Trustee. Deputy on the S.A. Jewish Board of Deputies. Former Treasurer, Bloemfontein Zionist Council. One of the Founder-Committee members of the Medical Exhibitors' Association, 1945-61; Chairman 1948. Member of the Transport and Postal Committees of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce since 1947. Chamber of Commerce Nominee and Vice-Chairman, Committee of the Johannesburg Commercial High School. Member of the Institute for the Study of Man in Africa, Former member of the National Development Foundation. During World War II was a member of the Pharmaceutical Requisites Panel of the Department of Supply; also served in the Police Reserve, Bloemfontein, and subsequently was Area Warden and member of the Civic Guard in Northcliff, Johannesburg. Awarded South African Medal for War Services (Non-Military). At the last British Industries Fair, in 1956, was presented to H.M, the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret.
