KESSLER, David. Solicitor. Born Cape Town 2nd March, 1922, son of Louis and Fanny Kessler. Educated at Cape Town High School. Member of Executive of Bellville Chamber of Commerce, formerly Vice-Chairman. Member of the Legislation Committee of the Cape Town Chamber of Commerce. Served with S.A. Defence Forces during World War II, saw service in Middle East 1941-1945, as Sergeant-Major; commended by Commander-in-Chief Middle East Forces for distinguished service.
