KLEWANSKY, Rabbi Jack. Educationist. Born Lithuania 24th December, 1903, son of Hillel and Chasya Klewansky. Educated at school and Yeshivot in Lithuania. Came to South Africa 1925. Transvaal Regional Director of S.A. Board of Jewish Education and Lecturer at Jewish Ministers' Training College. Member of the Management Committee of the Yeoville Synagogue; Chairman, Chevrah Lomdei Torah of Germiston and Lecturer to this Society; Lecturer on Tanach and Talmud at the Oxford Synagogue, Johannesburg.
