Chairman and Director of: Lectrolite Products (Pty.) Ltd., Leaders Auto Supplies (Pty) Ltd., Longsdale Manufacturing Co. (Pty.) Ltd. During World War II served in National Volunteer Brigade. Member of the Etz Chayim Hebrew Congregation Member of the Transvaal Automobile Club and Lions International, Recreations: golf, swimming, bridge, reading. Married Ilse Niedermann 1936; one daughter.
