HIRSCH, Jack Ulrich. Company Director. Born Noerenberg/Pom: Germany, 22nd November, 1910, son of Siegmund and Rosa Hirsch. Educated at Gymnasium, Stargard, University of Feriburg. Came to South Africa, 1936. Registered Medical Auxiliary with S.A. Medical and Dental Council. Vice-Chairman, 1964-66, of Hebrew School Committee; member, Durban Progressive Jewish Congregation, S.A. Jewish Ex- Servicemen's League. Served with South African Forces in World War II. S/Sgt. with S.A.M.C., 1940-46. Saw service in Egypt and Italy.
