KANTOR, Lazar, Director of Companies. Born Lithuania 15th March, 1905, son of Chaim and Chae Kantor. Educated at Ponevez and Slabodke Yeshivot. Came to South Africa 1925. Director of several property and investment companies. Treasurer of Israeli United Appeal in Port Elizabeth for many years. Member, Wedgewood Park Country Club. Married 1933, wife's name Gertie. Recreation: Bowls. Has since left to settle in Canada.
