KATZ, Ludwig. Merchant. Born Meiningen, Germany, 12th August, 1908, son of Max and Hannah Katz. Educated at Erfurt High School, Germany. Came to South Africa 1936. Managing Director of Wholesale Carpet Company. Hon. Secretary, B'nai B'rith Bar Kochba Lodge, Cape Town, since 1965; Member of Cape Town Jewish Reform Congregation and other Jewish organisations.
