Came to South Africa 1903. Educated at South African College School, S.A. College, Edinburgh University. Hon. Consulting Gynaecologist and Obstetrician, Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town. Formerly Senior Lecturer in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the University of Cape Town; Hon. Gynaecologist, Somerset Hospital, Cape Town. Hon. Gynaecologist, Cape Town Free Dispensary. Was Senior Hon. Gynaecologist, Groot Schuur Hospital; Senior Hon. Obstetrician, Peninsula Maternity Hospital, Cape Town. Member of Teaching Hospitals Board, Cape Town; member of Federal Council, Medical Association of S.A.; President of Cape Western Branch National Association of S.A., 1961. Member of Western Province Zionist Council; Chairman, Medical Committee of Western Province Zionist Council; Hon. Gynaecologist, Jewish Old Age Home, Cape Town. Served with Union Defence Force in World War I as Sergeant in Prince of Wales Own Cape Peninsula Rifles (1914-15). Member of Clovelly and Keurboom Clubs. Recreation: Bowls.
