GOLDBLATT, Leslie. Manager. Born Lithuania, 15th March, 1914, son of Avraham Abba Onias and Golda Mehr Goldblatt. Educated at Ponevez Yeshiva. Came to South Africa in 1928. Author of "The Rising Tide" (verse) and "It Was But Yesterday" (recollections of Lithuania). Served with the Metropolitan War Police, London, during the Second World War.
