GOLDIE, Ian. Representative. Born Dublin, Eire, 24th August,
1910, son of Samuel and Rachael Goldie. Educated at Gorbals School, Glasgow,
Scotland. Came to South Africa 1947. Committee Member, S.A. Jewish Ex-Service
League (P.E. Branch) since 1956; Member, Summerstrand Hebrew Congregation;
Summerwood Bowling Club. Served with Jewish Brigade Group in World War II from
its formation until its disbandment in July, 1946, then completed army service
with Royal Fusiliers (London Regt.). Recipient of service medals, and special
Israeli Medal for service with Jewish Brigade Group. Married Dora Stein, 28th
