GOLDING, Isidore. Retired Business Executive. Born Lithuania 28th February, 1884, son of Aron and Eva Sarah Golding. Educated in Lithuania and Koenigsburg, E. Prussia. Came to South Africa 1897. Served 25 years with Dandy Polish Co., Ltd. Fought with Boer forces, Linchwe and Khama; fought with Boer forces in the Anglo-Boer War and was awarded Medal (Dekorasie). Awarded three medals in World War I. Took part in Bondelsward Expedition (Rehoboth Bastard Opstand). Former Captain of the 3rd Mounted Brigade. Life member of the S.A. Jewish Ex-Service League. Member of various Jewish social and welfare organisations. Married Mathilda Greenberg 10th February, 1929; two daughters. Add.: 50, Kinfauns Street, Sydenham, Johannesburg.
