Educated at Athlone High School, Johannesburg, and Pretoria Technical College. Director of Stanley & De Kock, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Vereeniging. President of Society of Opticians of S.A. Member of Transvaal Automobile Club, Killarney. During Second World War served in North Africa with 40 Squadron S.A.A.F. Married Barbara Esta Isaacson, 1944; two daughters.
