Educated at Miriam Marks School, Pretoria, Christian Brothers College and Technical College in Johannesburg and Durban. Managing Director of Pretoria Wholesale Druggists (Pty.) (Pty) Ltd. Served on the Pretoria Branch of the Pharmaceutical Society of S.A. for many years. Council member, Pretoria United Hebrew Congregation, since 1951; Chairman of Great Synagogue for several years; President of the Pretoria United Hebrew Congregation; Chairman of the Congregation's Fund-raising Committee since its inception; Chairman of Carmel School Board; former Chairman, United Communal Fund Committee in Pretoria; Vice-Chairman, Israel United Appeal in Pretoria for several years.
